When I woke up this morning I had an ominous feeling my hangover was back. However, even I know that’s impossible, so I think I’m dealing with some sort of strange virus-y thing. I feel okay until I start doing things, and while teaching the Yummy Mummy class this morning, I honestly thought I was going to pass out between lying down and getting up - and not just from awesome abdominal work.
I was dreading teaching Spin this afternoon, because let’s face it, the class is all about trashing yourself - even if you’re taking it easy. Anyone who’s read my previous posts on competitiveness will appreciate how hard it is for me to back off, but I discovered a new way of doing things today, which was working everyone else so hard they didn’t really have time to look at what I was doing. I cruised for most of the class, then spent the last few minutes working harder. I almost felt better, but after Spin there’s a short abdominal class, and while getting down onto the floor, I felt horribly dizzy again. Normally, I would have done the abs with everyone else, but because I didn’t want to pass out, I abstained (tee hee!)
So I don’t know what’s going on, but hopefully it goes away soon. Miss M was complaining of feeling unwell during Karate yesterday, so I’m wondering if it’s the same thing. Anyway, I have time before picking her up to nap for a while, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
Today I’m loving: an hour to rest!
(I haven’t posted a photo of today’s advent activity, because feet are not attractive, so you’ll just have to use your imagination. To help you, I’ll specify the polish is bright blue)
